MODERN PENTATHLON U24 JUNIOR EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Polish Modern Pentathlon Association and the Local Organizing Committee has the pleasure to invite a Delegation of your National Federation to participate in the U24 Junior European Championships to be held in Drzonków from September 18-24, according to the following programme:
20.09 Arrival of delegations / technical meeting / jumping test
21.09 Women’s final
22.09 Men’s final
23.09 MIX relay – New: each country can be represented by 2 (two) mix teams !!!
24.09 Departure of delegations

Rules The competition will be carried out according to the UIPM Rules.
- Swimming: 50m indoor or 25m indoor swimming pool / 4 lanes
- Fencing: 10 pistes
- Horse riding: a riding course of 400m length, consisting of 12 obstacles
- Laser Run:
- shooting range (service: APEOM): 36+2 precision laser targets (handicap)
- running course: outdoor 800m

We inform that in order to provide athletes the best conditions for their stay and to ensure swift run of the competition the accommodation will be held within WOSiR facilities in Drzonków.
Please note that the Technical Meeting, Accreditation Office and LOC Office and etc. will be located in the WOSiR Drzonków.
Rooms are reserved on a first come first served basis so if one category becomes full, it will no longer be possible to choose this option.
The LOC will offer training facilities for all venues (swimming pool, fencing hall and laser run course from September 18, 2018.
LOC guarantee transportation from the national airport Zielona Góra – Babimost and Railway Station in Zielona Góra to the official hotels and the return journey.
In special cases it is possible to transport the Delegation from the Berlin/Poznań/Wrocław airport in other days, after prior notification and agreement of the financial conditions with the Organizer (LOC). The LOC will also provide transport from the airport. The cost is 350€/bus(8people)/round trip or 300€/car(3people)/round trip
Transportation from the official hotels to the venue for athletes will be according to the competition programme.

If you do not complete the information required prior to the deadline, or we do not receive your delegation’s deposit payment, then we will assume that your delegation is not participating.
For delegations (athletes, coaches, officials, supporters) reserving the conditions accommodation package, the prices are as follows:

This price includes full board accommodation, local transportation from/to the event. Delegations wishing to arrange their own accommodation must pay an accreditation fee per participant (athlete, coach or official) to the LOC. The amount of the Accreditation fee is set at EUR 75 per day per person, a minimum payment of 4 days. For this, we will provide lunch packets for the competition days and allow access to official transportation between the competition hotel and competition sites. The check out hour is 1.00 pm. If the delegates will stay more time must pay additionally for accommodation and/or meal.

At the same time as submitting the Final Entry Forms all NFs must send to the LOC by electronic bank transfer or other means, 30% of the total amount of their accommodation invoice, otherwise their reservation will not be guaranteed.
If on arrival for the competition, the team has fewer athletes and/or officials than listed on their Final Entry Form and without informing the LOC at least 7 days prior to their arrival, the NF will pay a fine to the Organising Nation/LOC of 200 Euros for each person not attending
Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sanctioned events if they are in License – possession of a valid Athletes License. Registration is not possible without a License Number. If an athlete does not have a license they will not be allowed to take part in the competition.
You are reminded of Rule 1.12.1 ii): Pentathletes without riding ability listed in the database and without a letter from their NF confirming their ability to ride may compete at World Cup competitions in the qualification for the Final, but if they qualify for the Final, must relinquish their place to the next placed pentathlete qualified rider from their group.
Insurance – According to UIPM Rules all members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidental injury or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility financial or other, for any loss, injury or illness of any member of the delegation.
Visas and vaccination
Visiting NFs should confirm visa and vaccination requirements for entry into POLAND prior travelling to the event. The LOC cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but can provide specific letters of invitation if needed.
